St. Margaret’s Somerset Hospice  has recently added an Ei42 online fundraising shop, St Margaret’s Shop, to its impressive and varied portfolio of fundraising strategies. 

The Hospice is located in Taunton, UK,  and serves Somerset and parts of the adjoining counties.  It provides palliative care, advice, support and respite to patients and their families.

St Margaret’s already operates a successful chain of 22 ‘bricks and mortar’ charity shops across Somerset.  This complementary online shop, which contains over 1300 top high street retailers, harnesses the popularity of internet shopping and will raise funds without incurring any running costs, staffing requirements or inventory worries.

Ei42 Free Online Fundraising Shops are available to charities, non-profit orgainzations and fundraising groups in the UK and USA. The shops can also be opened for personal use by individuals and businesses.

New! Ei42 Introduces a ‘Seal Of Approval’ for Charity and Fundraising Shops

Ei42 has recently introduced a gold ‘Seal of Approval’ for charity Ei42 shops, and a silver version for fundraising shopping portals.  The Ei42 Fundraising Seal of Approval Video below gives a quick visual summary of all the resources related to the seal.

The seals are granted after the charity or fundraising group makes an application and supplies the necessary proof of status.  The approval process is simple and quick, with the seal usually being added to the shop within 48 hours along with a link to their website, if available. 

As an alternative to the seal, charities and fundraising projects have the option of adding their official logo.  You can see an example of a verified fundraising shop below with the seal and url highlighted in yellow.

The seals are a great adddition to Ei42 shops - they give visitors confidence that they supporting a legitimate fundraising group.  Cashback commission payments generated by purchases in the main shop and in referred shops are paid to verified nominated bank accounts via BACS.

Bel Canto Chorus Opens a Fundraising Shop

A new Ei42 fundraising shop opens for business. 

Bel Canto Chorus , a ladies choir based in Sonning, Berkshire (near Reading), has recently opened its Ei42 fundraising shop, the Bel Canto Shop. 

The choir invites members and supporters to help raise funds by shopping in the Bel Canto Shop  or opening their own shop via the choir’s Ei42 referral link.

This relatively new ladies choir was established in March 2008 and  welcomes new members.  It is a very friendly and enthusiastic choir which sings a repertoire of mainly classical pieces with some folk song and spiritual arrangements.

Bel Canto Chorus is currently rehearsing for its Christmas concert in St. Peters church in Earley on December 13, 7pm - everyone is welcome.
